My name is Shira Tan and I am a senior at American University majoring in psychology and minoring in public health. My research interest narrows in at a clinical basis, but I want to gain as much experience in the psychology department, including Dr. Riley's Psychopharmacology lab. My interest in lab work began with my family and their history working in labs throughout their undergrad experience. I hope to take whatever I learn through my work here and my coworkers and apply them to my future career.
