Bio
Lisa joined Housing and Dining Programs (HDP) at American University in June 2014 bringing more than 10 years of educational leadership and an additional 6 years experience working in corporate settings. Prior to joining the HDP team, she worked at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as the Assistant Director for First Year Experience in Housing and Residential Education. As Director of Residence Life, Lisa provides leadership for the Residence Education team ensuring that every residential community is inclusive and supportive of students living in campus housing. Lisa is passionate about social justice and has developed several training and development programs to support diversity education for both student and professional staff.
