Bio
Ms. An is responsible for American University’s operating and capital budget, payroll, Business Practice Improvement office, and Finance Communications. She is the principal architect of the university’s two-year operating budget, RCM models, and a long-term budget model that integrates the university’s strategic and financial plans. She serves on institution-wide committees and project teams at AU. She led NACUBO’s Challenge 2010 Project funded by the Lumina Foundation, participated in the German-American Fulbright program, and served as a Middle States accreditation team member. She is a frequent presenter at professional associations on strategic planning, budget planning, big data analytics, and business process improvement. She holds an MEd degree and an Executive MPA degree from American University.
