Quantitative Support

Quantitative Support provides free mathematics and statistics support to undergraduate and graduate students at American University. Tutors will help students learn course concepts, develop study strategies, complete practice exercises, and prepare for exams. Quantitative Support comprises two core services: the Math & Stats Lab and Statistical Software Support.

Math & Stats Lab

Don Myers Building, Room 103

Tutors provide in-person, drop-in tutoring to students on course concepts featured in MATH-125 to MATH-222 courses and STAT-160 to STAT-302 courses.

Math/Stat Lab tutors also support introductory quantitative graduate courses, especially in statistics.
