The School of International Service hosts engaging and informative events for our students and school community every week. Our guest speakers, expert panels, and book discussions address the most important questions in international affairs from broad interdisciplinary perspectives. Over the course their studies, students have the chance to hear from a diverse range of speakers, including current and former heads of state, government officials, civil society leaders, environmental stewards, human rights activists, and social entrepreneurs.

To request accessibility information or a disability-related accommodation, contact SIS Events at sisevents@american.edu or (202) 885-1747. Please make requests at least two weeks in advance.
