Military-Connected Student Groups
With an active student-veteran and military-connected population on campus, AU has a number of opportunities for veterans, active-military, and dependents to get involved. Take a look at the several options below to see if any might be a good fit. From community service events and campus presentations to social gatherings, you'll always find a way to stay engaged while at AU. In addition to military-focused organizations, you are encouraged to get involved in the diverse array of student organizations on campus. These student organizations are supported by the staff in the University Center/Student Activities.
Military-Connected Club (Formerly AU Vets) We’re a chapter of Student Veterans of America and the only campus club focused entirely on serving AU’s military-connected students, including undergraduate and graduate students who are actively serving, reservists, veterans, retirees, dependents, patriots, or ROTC cadets. Student Veterans of America is national organization that provides support and resources to student-veteran organizations.
The Hoya Battalion - Georgetown University Army ROTC program comprised of five separate academic institutions, including AU.
U.S. Air Force ROTC-Howard University Air Force ROTC program comprised of six separate academic institutions, including AU.
